Hurricane / Disaster Relief

It really sucks that all of these hurricanes and tsunami's are terrin' up our world. The government's seem incapable of just chippin' in together and fixing everything. i see all these benefits and telethons looking for donations, but all us average income people chippin' in can't pay for this, not like government and private business can. Bill Gates could single handedly just rebuild new orleans like venice italy if he wanted and just put a microsoft sign somewhere. he's that rich. there are a few richass people around that could just fix these problems. they could modernize africa and just cure hunger and most crazy diseases around. our governments also deal in such huge amounts of money that they can do more than just say, "we'll give ya 20 million but that's all we really got". they are also connected to the rich elite. so why do we still quabble over all these debts we have? i just hate seeing fundraisers for disasters, diseases, hunger and poverty and expecting the pocketbook of your average man to even dent the money required to fix the problems of our world. the rich people on this planet need to trickle down some of their money from the beds they sleep on. just my 2 cents.
