De Cero Latin Restaurant Chicago

i went here with some buds from work and we all work in the food industry. their specials are very unique margaritas and the 8 taco for 25$ tray. i had a raspberry basil margarita to start and it was nice, slushy, and made from real ingredients. they have almost sushi like taco options ranging from veggie, to cheese, to pork, chicken, steak, tuna, shrimp, peppers, and many more. all come with a unique salsa/sauce for each meat type and they also have a topping like slaw or veggies on each taco type. the combo is set for each meat for good reason, each one is made to taste best in that combo. it seems pricey but it is an upscale place. and i couldn't get most of these combinations anywhere in chicago (in california for sure) except my own kitchen. try the house salsa tray (3 different ones). try the ceviche appetizer, delisch! i'd check it out again becuz i love mexican food and i have yet to have my fill there with their menu. 4 out of 5 thumbs.
